Memorial Primary School,
Raiwaqa was estabhshed in 1970 in the memory of local Indian Statesman and a
true son of Fiji, Late Hon. Pt Vishnu Deo OBE, ‘Janaratna’ MLC.
Apart from being
multiracial, the school has one of the largest indigenous students population
(80%). The school serves one of the poorest sectors of the Housing Estate
Communities. The first Head Teacher of the School was Mr S Govind.
